The Carson City Airport is now using the Instrument Approach Procedure and the Instrument Departure Procedure, making it easier for more pilots to land at and depart from the airport.
By 2011, the airport will also add a new taxiway, expand current taxiways, add a new weather reporting system and reconfigure the runway to reduce noise. Read more
